The queen has owned more than 30 corgis during her reign. Her first was Susan, who was an 18 th birthday present. Many of Her Majesty’s corgi dogs have been direct descendants from Susan.

Diamond Jubilee Celebrating 60 years of Monarch, 1952-2012
Elizabeth became Queen on February 6th, 1952 and was crowned on June2, 1953. She married Philip Mountbatten, Duke of Edinburgh in Westminster Abbey in 1947. In the carriage procession The Queen and Prince Philip will be travelling in the 1902 State Landau.
On monday 4th June a televised Diamond Jubilee Concert will be held at Buckingham Palace.
